AIA
The AIA Group is a leading life insurance organisation in Asia Pacific, with branch offices throughout the region including Australia. The AIA Priority Protection product is issued by AIA Australia Limited, and includes five separate plans – the Life Cover Plan, the Crisis Recovery Stand Alone Plan, the Income Protection Plan, the Business Expenses Plan, and the Superannuation Life Cover Plan (when acquired by a trustee of a self managed superannuation fund).

AMP
AMP first started offering life insurance in 1849, and has grown to become one of Australia's leading insurance and wealth management groups, with more than
3.4 million customers and 3,900 employees in Australia and New Zealand. AMP Life Limited is the issuer of the AMP Flexible Lifetime – Protection. Death cover, total and permanent disablement (TPD) cover and trauma cover are available under the Life Protection Plan, and income protection is available under the Income Protection Plan.

AXA
The AXA Elevate product range includes the Life Insurance Plan, the Trauma Insurance Plus Plan, the Trauma Insurance Plan, Total and Permanent Disability Insurance (Any Occupation or Own Occupation), Income Insurance and Business Expenses Insurance. The insurer is the National Mutual Life Association of Australasia Limited (NMLA), trading as AXA, which is 100% owned by ASX listed corporation AXA Asia Pacific Holdings Limited.

Comminsure
CommInsure is a subsidiary of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA). The CommInsure Protection product, issued by The Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society Ltd and Colonial Mutual Superannuation Pty Ltd, provides life insurance, total and permanent disability, trauma, income protection and business expenses insurance. This includes insurance solutions outside super through the Total Care Plan, Income Care and Income Care Plus and inside super through the Total Care Plan Super.

OnePath
Formerly known as Mercantile Mutual and ING Australia, OnePath has provided insurance and wealth solutions in Australia for over 130 years and is now a wholly owned subsidiary of ANZ. OnePath Life Limited is the insurer for OnePath OneCare policies – through the OneCare product range individuals can access Life Cover, TPD Cover, Trauma Cover, Income Secure Cover, Business Expense Cover, Living Expense Cover, Child Cover and Extra Care Cover.

MLC
MLC is the wealth management division of the National Australia Bank (NAB), and is the largest personal insurance provider based on annual inforce premiums with 14.1% market share (source: DEXX&R Life Analysis as at June 2009). MLC Limited is the insurer and issuer of the MLC Personal Protection Portfolio and the MLC ProtectionFirst products, providing life, TPD, trauma and income protection cover.

Tower

Zurich
